"I love stats so its interesting to me to see exactly whats going on inside the engine. Thats why I like the Hyperpac. I'll be honest and say that having run Hypertech before on an older model year truck, I figured it would be exactly the same as it felt on that 04.5 LLY. Lemme say that it does not, at all. Its by far the smoothest tune I've ever run. (having run Predator, Edge, Hypertech, and PPE). This Hyperpac tuning by Hypertech is a completely different animal. I think Hypertech did a great job in eliminating the turbo lag. Its virtually gone. The power increase is incredible. It has no problem breaking my 285's loose in the back end now if I punch it at low speeds. Passing power now has improved so much now. Its amazing what a simple 5 minute download can do to a modern day diesel and I'll never be without a tune again."

As you can see by the picture, I have a lift and very large 38" swampers. Although I will describe the
performance of the stock PSD as "sluggish" at best, you can guess that it only got worse with the large tires.
I decided a chip was the way to go to increase performance. I recalled that my brother purchased a Power
Programmer for his '94 Trans Am and was very pleased with it. When I heard Hypertech had released a Power
Programmer for the 2000 PSD Super-Duty, I could hardly wait to get my hands on it!!! I even had it rush shipped
to my dealer 'cause I couldn't wait.
I just installed the Power Programmer yesterday. I couldn't believe how easy it was to install! Plug it in,
follow the steps in the manual (which is excellent by the way), and you're done in about twenty minutes!
Upon installation, as soon as I started the truck, put her in gear, I noticed a difference, where before I
had to stomp on the pedal just to get her to cruising speed, I didn't have to do it anymore! Just a little
touch of the pedal and off she went. The lag was gone! Took her easy at first, trying to see how the truck shifted
with the shift firmness. It worked beautifully!!! Clean, crisp, shifts, faster yet not too stiff, just right! FORD,
if you are listening, this is how it should have shifted from the factory!
Now, I'll get to the good stuff, performance. I turned on to a long stretch of highway, (remember, I hadn't punched
her yet) and romped on the pedal - gadda - gadda - WHOOSH!! Look-out!! I was up to 100km/hr (60 miles) before I knew
it! What a difference!! The truck flies!! It feels like a big-block gasser now!! (Except faster he-he!) Now I have a
great shifting, feels like a drag-racer truck that gets better fuel mileage than when it was stock!!! The Hypertech
Power Programmer was money well spent on performance!!!

I bought your Hypertech Power Programmer, part #41029 from my friends parts store in Garden City, Michigan, and I put the
Stage 3 engine program in, also the firmer shifts. It is as different as night and day. I really like that you just touch
the gas and you get results. Before, just to take off normally, I had to mash the gas pedal down about half way to get it
moving. But now, just a touch of the gas and you're gone. I am impressed. I was gonna buy Superchips but wanted to give the
Power Programmer a try. I am at a loss for words from the gains I got. I put a spankin' on my buddies lighter Hemi Dodge

I will tell everyone about your product. I am taking some friends for a ride in it later to show them the before and
after. I put it back to stock to show a buddy just how much it helped. My buddy thought I had put propane in the truck
it pulled so hard and just kept pulling and gaining speed. In my opinion, you can't get any better for the money than
buying your product. I can't see anything else that compares for the performance and money. I have a '99 GT Mustang that
I am going to purchase one of these for. I am sold on it now. If it helped my diesel out, I can't even imagine what it's

I have seen up to a 2mpg increase when pulling 10,000-12,000 pound trailers, and as much as 3mpg increase in highway

"Hypertech Sales Department, Having had previous experience with Hypertech products on my 2000 Chevy Z-71, I was anxious to find out what the company had to offer for my recent purchase. A 2007 Chevy 1 Ton Dually. As far as the 2000 Chevy Z-71 I needed something to increase power and change shift patterns to allow better performance pulling my bass boat. Hypertech did both impressively and improved my gas mileage. I opted for the 6.6L Duramax Turbo Diesel w/ 6-speed Allison transmission in this truck. Off the line acceleration was a concern, so I installed the Max Energy Power Programmer from Hypertech. The difference is nothing short of unbelievable!! I am running oversize tires (which the programmer allowed me to correct my speedometer for) and, I can spin them from a dead stop! Mileage has improved from 13mpg to 18mpg towing my 21' bass boat or not. I would recommend the Hypertech Max Energy (and have many times) to anyone looking for a manageable improvement in overall performance."

"First off the best thing this did right away was get rid of the hesitation when starting off in first gear. My wife drove it first and she could really tell it had something it was missing before. The hesitation was gone and the engine revved with the slightest touch of my foot to the go pedal. There was a nice little nudge that wasn’t there in the lower RPM's. I am running 35 Inch BFGoodrich KM2's on 17x8.5 Inch Wheels. These tires are not light and require some extra power to get moving. I noticed that with the Max Energy I was given back my 6th gear and maintaining highway speeds no longer required a downshift here in mostly flat West Texas. I regained the use of my cruise control. The speedo for the BFG Mud Terrain KM2 was off before the program. I was able to adjust the Hypertech and reach almost a perfect match to my GPS NAV in the Jeep. The odometer, mpg computer, and Speedo all work correctly now. The options for cooling the engine with a lower thermostat setting was a nice addition to the unit. This allows the user to run a lower thermostat setting giving the Jeep longevity on the trail without overheating issues. I am very happy with everything that the programmer has provided including the 11 hp and 24 ft-lbs with no additional mods!"
