Instantly & Safely Disable Your Vehicle’s Auto Start-Stop And/Or V4 Mode

The PowerStay is a simple plug-in module that serves as an active fuel management disabler, eliminating the Auto Start-Stop and/or cylinder deactivation (V4 mode) on many newer model vehicles. Although these features are touted as fuel mileage improving features from the factory, many customers see no improvements or even experience mechanical failures due to these features. The PowerStay puts an end to these modes on your vehicle once and for all, allowing you to enjoy your vehicle as it was meant to be.

Installation is Quick & Easy

With the vehicle off, plug the PowerStay in to the OBD-II diagnostic port under the driver’s side dash, then just drive your vehicle...That’s all there is to it! Re-enable either feature by first turning your vehicle off, then unplugging the PowerStay from the OBD-II diagnostic port under the driver’s side dash.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR GM VEHICLES WITH ACTIVE ONSTAR

GM OnStar cannot run the full diagnostics when the PowerStay or similar devices are plugged into the OBD-II port of the vehicle. PowerStay users that have the OnStar diagnostic app on their phone will get a message saying that some modules have faults, which is not accurate.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR VEHICLES THAT ARE NOT DRIVEN FOR EXTENDED PERIODS OF TIME

The PowerStay consumes around twenty (20) milliamps (mA) of current when the vehicle is running and goes into sleep mode when the vehicle is shut off and draws two (2) milliamps (mA) when in sleep mode. The sleep current draw is minimal compared to the vehicles own current draw, but customers should be advised to disconnect the PowerStay from the vehicle if the vehicle is in long term storage or not driven for an extended period of time.
